Carl has a passion for radio. In year 11 he got involved with a school radio program. His media teacher suggested that he volunteer at 2XXfm, a local radio station in Canberra. With the help of his family, 2XXfm, and some NDIS funding, Carl was able to undertake an internship. The NDIS funding was used flexibly to employ Jenny, a freelance Radio Trainer, at 2XXfm. Jenny taught Carl skills and also built his confidence. This led to Carl producing Community Service Announcements for 2XXfm with his own flair. Carl is a valued member of the team at 2XXfm and is considered to have a flourishing career as a Radio Announcer.
